For the last 15 years, I have been blogging about traveling in Croatia and other places, mainly in Europe. My secret spot is located on Island Hvar, and I prefer to keep it secret, which is why I cannot provide any details about it \ud83d\ude09.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Split<\/strong>, of course. I have lived here for 20 years, so I obviously love the place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dubrovnik<\/strong> needs no further introduction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>National Parks in Croatia<\/strong>, particularly Plitvice Lakes and Krka Waterfalls. I have visited Plitvice about 15 times over the years; the place is just magnificent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Other Islands in Croatia<\/strong>. You just fall in love with each one of them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And last but not least, the <strong>northeastern part<\/strong> of the country<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>My list could go on and on. Literally, there are so many great places in Croatia; depending on one\u2019s preferences, there is a perfect spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>On My Bucket List for Croatia:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Mljet Island, Lastovo Island, Island Pasman, Ugljan, and other islands near Zadar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A revisit to Slavonija, the northeastern part of Croatia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And much more\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Worldwide places I Have Visited for Shorter or Longer Periods:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Living in Europe, it is, of course, easy to visit a lot of countries. I have been to most countries in Europe for shorter or longer periods (Lived in Germany for almost 10 Years). My favorite countries to visit in Europe are Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, and the countries neighboring Croatia: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, and Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to visiting countries in Europe, I have also been to the USA a couple of times, as well as Israel, Argentina, Thailand, and Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>On My Bucket List for the Rest of the World:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Iceland, Scotland, the Norwegian fjords, Canada, and Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam, the Philippines, and Cambodia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What i do professionally<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I have been an Entrepreneur for more than 20 year, where I successfully managed to bootstrap two companies to profitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From time to time i am a speaker or panelist at conferences, where I share my knowledge about travel and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/split-techcity.com\/getbybus\">Split Tech City Speaking<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspira.hr\/leadership-bites-dont-mess-with-success\/\">Aspira &#8211; Leadership Bites<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3>Other interesting things about me<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I am a Google Local Guide Level 8 and have had <a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/SC5ZZJzEjtTLSvdp6?g_st=aw\">more than 47 million views<\/a> of the photos I posted to Google Maps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love barbecuing, reading a good book, and resting at my secret place on Hvar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can see some of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.croatia-expert.com\/\">travel stories and tips<\/a> here and here is my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCck-gRWOy2LNzEYJdjXnCWw\">Youtube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi, I am Morten, a Danish serial entrepreneur living in Split, Croatia.
