Zadar County approved sessions for the Brgulje Agricultural Cooperative to increase the number of anchor points<\/strong> at the Brgulje<\/a> anchorage on the island of Molat<\/a>, from 58 to 80. At the same time, the municipal government in Pako\u0161tane<\/strong> continues, with the support of the state government, pushing, for many, harmful intentions to turn the entire picturesque historic island pier into a marina for boaters.<\/p>\n

Higher capacity for tourist boats in Brgulje<\/h3>\n

The concessionaire sent a request to the County to change the concession by removing parts of the field that cannot be put into the function of the anchorage from the surface and increasing the number of anchorages in accordance with the needs of space and safety conditions<\/strong>, according to Morski.hr<\/a><\/p>\n

The requested changes do not change the type or subject of the concession agreement, since it is still about the economic use of maritime assets, special purpose ports – anchorage Brgulje on the island of Molat, and as the requirements of the Concessions Act are met, the councilors are proposed to make a decision on amending the decision.<\/p>\n

The battle for Vrgada<\/h3>\n

As Morski.hr<\/a> reports, on March 5, 2021, the line ministry gave its consent to the Municipality on the Proposal of the Decision on the adoption of the<\/strong> Urban Development Plan<\/strong> for the coastal zone of the Vrgada Bay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Previously, numerous remarks of a large number of citizens<\/strong> addressed to the authorities of the Municipality of Pakostane on the document called the Proposal of Decision on the adoption of the Urban Development Plan of the coastal zone of Vrgada Bay were mostly rejected<\/strong>, as well as all warnings that such a thing is completely inappropriate and will lead to permanent devastation<\/strong>. A few weeks ago, the municipal authorities sent notices to all participants in the public debate on the document, in which they did not state all the remarks they received, but only partially, warn Vrgadin locals who oppose the project which they think will destroy all the beauties and values of the island and turn it into a private marina.
