Jadrolinija announced a new ferry Sveti Juraj<\/strong> that will operate on the route Zadar – Preko<\/a>. The ferry will run until further notice because the ship Dora is down again<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The ferry Sveti Juraj was built in 1980 at the Kraljevica shipyard Goli Otok prison\u2019s needs<\/strong>. The ship was called Jurjevo until 1991.<\/p>\n

Today, the ship usually sails in the winter on the route Prizna – \u017digljen<\/a>, and in the summer it maintains the lines Zadar – Rivanj – Sestrunj – Zverinac – Molat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sveti Juraj on the line Zadar – Preko will not transport a car<\/strong> but only passengers.<\/p>\n

The new ferry port on the island of Pasman is ready by summer<\/h3>\n

Projects worth more than 150 million kunas are currently being implemented on the islands of Ugljan<\/a> and Pasman<\/a>. On that occasion, Zadar County Prefect Bo\u017eidar Longin<\/strong> and his associates visited the island municipalities where he visited some of the works with the mayors.<\/p>\n

The Zadar County Prefect, accompanied by a delegation from the Municipality of Tkon led by Mayor Goran Mu\u0161\u0107et<\/strong>, visited the final works on the new ferry port, which should be completed by the summer. In total, more than 45 million kunas was invested in its construction, and the final phase, worth 32.5 million kunas, is the first port infrastructure project in the Republic of Croatia financed from EU funds<\/strong> and implemented by the Zadar County Port Authority.<\/p>\n

As Mu\u0161\u0107et says, this is a project of vital importance for the municipality of Tkon and the entire island of Pasman that will contribute to the development of tourism<\/strong> and increase the quality of life of the island population<\/strong>. It will relieve the central places that are overcrowded in the summer season, and navigation safety will be significantly increased.<\/p>\n

Adaptation of the kindergarten in Kraj<\/strong>, Social Home in Nevi\u0111ani<\/strong>, arrangement of recreational trails and five lookouts<\/strong>, arrangement and equipping of children’s playgrounds<\/strong> in all eight municipal settlements, reconstruction of the state road from Barotul to the ferry port in Tkon<\/strong>, with the reconstruction of the intersection at the entrance to Pa\u0161man<\/strong> are only some of the projects currently being implemented in the municipality of Pa\u0161man.<\/p>\n
