The announced new boat lines that would connect the island of Veli Lo\u0161inj <\/a>and Rab island <\/a>will not operate this tourist season.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although in February, when the County Assembly of PGC made a formal decision on the introduction of the line, it was unofficially handled the information that the ship would sail in the peak of this tourist season, as they now say in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, it more realistic that the line will begin to operate at the beginning of autumn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The county will participate in the realization of the line with 50%, and the City of Mali Lo\u0161inj and the City of Rab each with 25% of the costs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have their confirmation of participation in the project and now we will formalize it through this Agreement by waiting for the elections to pass and for the leaders to be authorized to sign. We expect that the signing of this agreement will be completed by the end of this month when we would start the public procurement procedure for the line, for which the documentation has already been prepared. If the tender goes well, in the sense that we receive complete and valid bids and that they are within the planned funds, we can hope for the beginning of the line this year – in the fall.<\/p>From the Prefect\u2019s office for Otoci.eu<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

From October to April, the line Veli Losinj – Rab would be held once a week, in May and June and in September twice a week, and in July and August three times a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
