{"id":7119,"date":"2021-07-14T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-14T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/?p=7119"},"modified":"2021-07-12T10:54:45","modified_gmt":"2021-07-12T08:54:45","slug":"catamarans-silba-and-olea-connecting-zadar-to-ist-and-brbinj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/catamarans-silba-and-olea-connecting-zadar-to-ist-and-brbinj\/","title":{"rendered":"Catamarans Silba and Olea connecting Zadar to Ist and Brbinj"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Coastal Shipping Agency <\/strong>has approved the replacement of the catamarans <strong>Silba <\/strong>and <strong>Olea <\/strong>in the morning Sunday voyages from July 11 to August 22 on lines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>9403 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/ist-zadar\/\">Ist\/\u0160iroka &#8211; (Zapuntel &#8211; Brgulje &#8211; Molat) &#8211; Zadar<\/a> and vice versa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/zadar-ist\/\">Zadar &#8211; Ist<\/a><\/li><li>9404 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/brbinj-zadar\/\">Brbinj &#8211; (Bo\u017eava &#8211; Zverinac &#8211; Sestrunj &#8211; Rivanj) &#8211; Zadar<\/a> and vice versa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/zadar-brbinj\/\">Zadar &#8211; Brbinj<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Given the expected higher number of passengers on Sundays in the high season, especially to and from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/bozava-catamaran-port\/\">Bo\u017eava<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/island-dugi-otok\/\">Dugi Otok<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/jadrolinija\/\">Jadrolinija<\/a> sent a request to replace the catamarans Silba and Olea in lines 9403 and 9404 on Sunday morning in such a way that Olea departs from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/zadar-ferry-port\/\">Zadar<\/a> at 8:00 am on line 9403 to the islands of Molat and Ist, and Silba departs at 08:15 am on line 9404 to the islands of Rivanj, Sestrunj, Zverinac and Dugi Otok (Bo\u017eava, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/brbinj-ferry-terminal\/\">Brbinj<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the evening departure at 9:00 pm, <strong>catamarans would be replaced again <\/strong>in such a way that the catamaran Olea would return to operating line 9404, and the catamaran Silba to operating line 9403.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>NP Mljet visited by 11,886 visitors so far<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From its opening on March 26 to the end of June, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/island-mljet\/\">Mljet National Park<\/a> was <strong>visited by 11,886 visitors<\/strong>. According to the structure of visits, <strong>the largest share belongs to one-day individual and agency visitors<\/strong>, who come to tour the main attractions of the oldest marine protected area in the Mediterranean.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walking along numerous marked <strong>hiking trails<\/strong>, <strong>climbing the Montokuc <\/strong>and <strong>Veliki Gradac <\/strong>lookouts, <strong>cycling around the Great Lake<\/strong>, <strong>exploring hidden beaches and bays by kayaks and canoes <\/strong>and <strong>swimming in salt lakes <\/strong>are the main attractions for visitors looking for an active holiday in untouched nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>ticket to the Mljet National Park <\/strong>includes a visit to all land sites and a boat ride on the Great Lake to visit the Benedictine monastery on the island of St. Marija. The transport is performed by <strong>solar electric catamarans <\/strong>with a capacity of 54 passengers which have completely replaced the old diesel-powered ships with an environmentally friendly solution. The electric drive creates a new sailing experience, and the only noise and vibration is created by wind and waves. Due to its design, it provides all passengers with excellent visibility to see all the sights of the Mljet National Park without hindrance.
