The catamaran line Split – Dubrovnik<\/a>, with stops in Korcula<\/a>, Hvar<\/a> and Bol<\/a>, is the longest Adriatic coastal route <\/strong>that allows you to visit the walls of Dubrovnik<\/strong>, Korcula streets<\/strong>, sunny Hvar<\/strong>, Zlatni Rat beach <\/strong>and Split <\/strong>in one day.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The route is a real treat for passengers as it connects the most important tourist centres of central and southern Dalmatia<\/strong>. This daily return line will run until September 13.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This high-speed line is one of Jadrolinija<\/a>‘s commercial lines and is a response to the needs of the market and the growing interest of domestic and foreign tourists for islands and cities in this part of the Adriatic.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The crew of the catamaran tells us that tourists and domestic passengers enjoy the ride like in a panoramic bus<\/strong>. In all places, you get in and out and most importantly, very quickly, because “Jelena”, a catamaran attached to the white fleet in 2018, sails at a speed of thirty knots. It has a maximum speed of 40 miles and can carry 403 passengers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Always on the move<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

They point out in Jadrolinija that this line allows you to visit the famous walls of Dubrovnik, Korcula’s Mediterranean streets in one day<\/strong>, see first hand why Hvar is called the sunniest Croatian island<\/strong>, swim on Bol’s legendary beach Zlatni Rat <\/strong>and then arrive in charming Split. It really justifies the company’s motto: “Holidays start on a boat<\/em><\/strong>.”<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Slobodnadalmacija.hr<\/a> welcomed “Jelena<\/strong>” at the Split pier of St. Duje<\/a>. A long column, mostly tourists with suitcases, dragged themselves from the catamaran for ten minutes, slightly overwhelmed by the heatwave after leaving the cooled ship. As soon as they came out, the catamaran is supplied with fuel, water, food, garbage\u2026<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Ivica Marti\u0107<\/strong>, the captain of \u201cJelena<\/strong>\u201d briefly described his experiences with sailing to the islands. His first commanding experience was on the ferry “Sumartin” and he says that in Jadrolinija he operated all types of ships, including the ferry in Bre\u0161an’s movie “Marshal” which was filmed in Osor.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Maximum dynamics<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Every boat has such great stories, but we return to the everyday life of busy \u201cJelena\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Marti\u0107 says that this is a very interesting line for tourists because in both directions they can visit some of the most famous tourist places on our side of the Adriatic.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

He continues by saying that on a catamaran, the dynamics is maximum because in all places you enter and exit so that maybe 20% of the same tourists who enter Split get off in Dubrovnik<\/strong>. It’s like nomadic tourism. It’s never boring.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The first deck officer <\/strong>is Martin Ribi\u0107 <\/strong>from Rijeka, he has been on Jadrolinija since 2012 and is mostly in contact with passengers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The strangest thing is certainly for those who see the sea for the first time, so if there are waves, there will be fear. But generally, there are no problems, maybe only in Bol where the waterfront is low, so it is inconvenient to get out, especially for passengers with a lot of luggage. “Jelena” is good, just to make the season last and for the rest will be easy.<\/p>\r\nRibi\u0107<\/cite><\/blockquote>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Timetable<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The catamaran from Dubrovnik<\/a> departs every day at 7:00 am with arrival in Split at 12:55 pm. On the way, it docks on Kor\u010dula, then departs for Hvar at 9:15, at 10:50 the catamaran sails towards Bol on Bra\u010d, and at 11:55 it departs for Split.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The return trip from Split is at 3:30 pm, with the same stops. Arrival in Dubrovnik is at 9:25 pm.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
