Jadrolinija<\/a> doesn\u2019t hide satisfaction with the full morning catamaran and ferry lines <\/strong>to Hvar<\/a> and back, but also to neighboring Bra\u010d Island<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Jelena Ivuli\u0107<\/strong>, head of the agency, points out they are pleased with a fact that morning lines, both catamaran and ferry lines, are full. Afternoon lines, both catamaran and ferry, fill up very quickly as passengers really arrive at the port of Split<\/a> non-stop.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

She adds that they had one extraordinary line from Split to Supetar<\/a> at 11:15 am.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Another striking weekend records over 80 000 passengers and over 18 000 vehicles<\/strong>. We have been continuing with the positive growth since the beginning of June and we are moving towards 80% of the realized turnover compared to the period in 2019.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Ferry ports facing crowds from early mornings<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

As it is already known, summer crowds in the Split ferry port were also expected during this weekend – a presumption of record weekend traffic. The striking weekends of August are always until the feast of the Assumption<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In Split-Dalmatia County, most guests are from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia<\/strong>. The crowds at the ferry port are not only arriving on the islands<\/a> but also leaving them. As for the island of Hvar, the Jadrolinija ship on the route Stari Grad – Split<\/a> is filled a day in advance for cars, and a ticket for a person should be purchased at least 45 minutes before<\/strong>. Also, due to the crowds, Jadrolinija warns that the vehicle must be loaded at least one hour to forty-five minutes earlier.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Due to the increased traffic, passengers go to the town of Sucuraj<\/a> in the south of the island of Hvar, because there is a more frequent ferry on the route Sucuraj – Drvenik<\/a>, on average every 60 minutes, and additional lines are introduced. It is important to note that passengers going to the other side of the island should not expect to board as soon as they arrive because in the ferry port Sucuraj the ticket is not purchased with a reservation <\/strong>but you have to wait in line to get in which is usually about 2 hours.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
