In Zadar’s “Vodovod”, <\/strong>documentation is being prepared for the project “EU project Water Zadar<\/strong>” worth one billion and 752 million kuna. The project would solve the issue of supply of all Zadar islands <\/strong>and the entire area beneath Velebit. The current plan is to bring water to the most remote parts of Zadar County by 2028<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

After announcing the tender, obtaining the necessary permits and resolving property and legal relations starts, and then follows the application to EU funds.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Director of “Vodovod” Tomislav Matek <\/strong>says that at the end of last year, a Feasibility Study was prepared. Since then, design documentation has been prepared, which must be sent to Hrvatske Vode for review by 15 September. When the documentation is returned, a public tender for the design will be announced.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Only after that will they start obtaining all necessary permits and resolving property-legal relations on the route of future works, after which an application to EU funds would follow.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Water from the mainland or construction of a desalination plant?<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Three options were considered: bringing water to the island and to sub-Velebit places from the mainland or through the construction of a desalinator. In the end, the option according to which water on the island and in the Velebit region would arrive from the mainland <\/strong>proved to be the most optimal, while desalination plants should be built only for the three offshore islands of Zadar.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Dugi Otok<\/a>, Zverinac<\/a>, Brbinj – Savar, Rava<\/a>, Ist<\/a> and Molat<\/a> would be supplied with water from the direction of Zadar<\/strong>. That is, from the pumping station Borik from where the submarine pipeline would be brought to the island of Ugljan<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Ra\u010di\u0161\u0107e on Kor\u010dula gets a new modern port\u00a0<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The infrastructural arrangement of communal ports in the area of the town of Kor\u010dula<\/a> has begun. The reconstruction of the port in Ra\u010di\u0161\u0107e <\/strong>will start soon.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A small fishing village on the north side of the island of Korcula<\/a>, part of the town of Korcula, has been crying out for years for the renewal of road and maritime infrastructure. In summer, it is almost impossible to function normally there due to traffic jams that occur primarily due to inappropriate and completely outdated traffic infrastructure.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The renovation project includes the installation of a pontoon <\/strong>48 meters long with about 30 berths, and the existing berths will be renovated. It is planned to install a new anchor system for all vessels<\/strong>, so Ra\u010di\u0161\u0107e will eventually get 74 completely new utility connections<\/strong>. The project intends to clean the seabed from waste and fully equip the port with utilities. Altogether, the project should be done in 10 months<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The investment is worth 2 million kuna plus VAT, and part of the money is intended to be withdrawn from EU funds.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
