On Friday, October 15, <\/strong>the waters in front of Split<\/a> will be whitewashed at the start of the 77th Vis Regatta, which is expected at 09:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After it skipped a year, the “Vis Regatta<\/strong>” is once again taking a course towards Vis<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promising weather conditions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

According to the weather forecast, we can expect dry weather and a lot of wind. But there is more great news, this year the best sailors in groups receive a unique sculpture created especially for the Vis regatta by one of the eminent contemporary Croatian sculptors Dalibor Stosic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The director of the regatta says they do not expect the record 75th Vis Regatta <\/strong>to be repeated in terms of the number of entries, but they believe that this year’s edition will justify all sailing expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest adventure of the Lim Bay Challenge is starting for the weekend<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Along with Vis Regatta, begins one of the greatest sea adventures in Vrsar<\/strong>. The Lim Channel adventure <\/strong>is a team race that should bring competitors to the edge of endurance and test dexterity to the last atom of strength.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lim Bay Challenge 2021 <\/strong>sports event will take place between 15 and 17 October <\/strong>at the Belvedere Resort<\/strong>, and the rich program of activities for children and adults includes yoga classes for children and adults, cycling, nature walks, races and many other interesting outdoor activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, October 15<\/strong>, the program will include activities that the whole family will be able to enjoy. The youngest will be able to indulge in an organized treasure hunt in a one-kilometre race where they will have to follow the tracks together with a family member and reach the finish line together. Before the race, both parents and children will be able to relax in a yoga class that will prepare them for an easy race through the Istrian nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday<\/strong>, the competitors of the Sunny category <\/strong>will be transported to the starting point by bus to the famous medieval hillfort Dvigrad<\/strong>, within the walls of which the start of the race is planned, while the finish will be the Belvedere resort. This demanding category is a classic hardcore trail race with 800 m ascent and 950 m descent on a 30 km long track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the same day, competitors can try in the category Fun & Run <\/strong>(10.3 km with 150 m altitude) which is designed as a recreational race for all who want to spend a day in nature with easy walking and running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
