ZADAR – The oldest ship in Jadrolinija’s fleet – Lastovo – now connects Zadar port<\/a> with the most remote islands of the archipelago.<\/p>\n

Jadrolinija announced that from May 23, line 401 Zadar (Ga\u017eenica) – Ist – Olib – Silba – Premuda – M. Lo\u0161inj<\/strong> <\/a>will be taken over by a ship that almost ended up in the cutting room 30 years ago, after a fire broke out on it, writes 057info.<\/a><\/p>\n

They remind that the ship was completely overhauled in 1994, and new machines were installed, so Jadrolinija planned to keep the ship active in the fleet at least until 2025.<\/p>\n

The ship was built in Japan in 1969, and the largest shipping company in Croatia<\/a>, Jadrolinija bought it in 1978, renaming it Partizanka, and later Lastovo. Although it is old, many still claim that it is the most capable ferry in the fleet, which can dock in almost impossible conditions and is a favourite, especially on the island of Kor\u010dula<\/a>.<\/p>\n
