Marina Korkyra is now the holder of the Blue Flag, which the Marina Management and employees proudly raised, and for the first time decorated Vela Luka with this esteemed tourist award.<\/p>\n

The Blue Flag<\/strong> is a global, ecological program for the protection of the environment, the sea and the coast, and the main goal is sustainable management of the sea and the coastal belt – reports velaluka.hr<\/a><\/p>\n

AWARD OF THE BLUE FLAG<\/strong>
\nThis esteemed recognition is awarded by FEE – Foundation for Environmental Education <\/strong>to beaches and marinas which have clean coast and sea, quality service and equipment. For many tourists, the Blue Flag plays a big role in choosing the destination they will visit, which is a guarantee that the marina meets the highest environmental standards and that care for the sea and the coastal belt is at a high level.<\/p>\n

In the long process, she had to go through to get to the Blue Flag, Marina Korkyra met strictly defined criteria, which include various segments such as water quality, environmental management and safety and quality of service.<\/p>\n

Marina Korkyra is a newly built, modern and innovative marina, which recently added a service of emptying the black tank with a pump, to make the sea safe and comfortable for swimming.<\/p>\n

Environmental protection, health protection and sustainable development are significant challenges that Marina Korkyra strives for, so this recognition is a strong “wind in the back” and an indicator that they are doing well and that they should continue in the same direction.<\/p>\n
