With <strong>Eurozone <\/strong>and <strong>Schengen<\/strong>, there are no more land or sea borders. Consequently, the first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrycroatia.com\/en\/croatia-italy\/\">ferry that sails under the new regime leaves Split for Italy<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All cars, buses and passengers cross the border without any problems, there are no controls, and <strong>only a travel ticket is enough to board the ship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Joso Vuji\u0107<\/strong>, head of the Border Service of the PU of Split-Dalmatia, confirmed that the ramps had been raised, the entrance booths have been closed, and there is no longer a check of travel documents.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it can still happen that someone is stopped in case of some indications. Police officers will continue, he said, to carry out compensatory measures within the borders and outside them, so that in accordance with the security judgment, they will perform <strong>targeted control of vehicles and passengers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>As of tonight, the external border towards Italy has become an internal border, and all vessels coming from Italy to Croatia no longer have to go to the first port for international traffic, they can come to any port.
