Lopud ferry port
Lopud is one of three inhabited islands located near the city of Dubrovnik. The town is located on the northwestern side of the island and the ferry terminal of Lopud, in the end of a wide bay, is located in a very centre of the town. Once you’re in Lopud, you most probably wish to spend a peaceful holiday, so you can stay there and enjoy town and island’s hidden beauties, you can also visit the islands of Šipan and Koločep or you can go back to the mainland and explore the exciting city of Dubrovnik.
Since Lopud is a really small island town, no matter where your accommodation is, the ferry terminal is easily reachable on foot.
Getting from Lopud port to Dubrovnik Airport
The nearest airport is the airport of Dubrovnik at around 22 km from the ferry terminal in Dubrovnik. Once you get off the ferry in Dubrovnik, it won’t be hard for you to find the bus station since it’s very close. That’s where you take a shuttle bus to the airport. The ticket is around 40 kn = a little bit more than 5 euros and the trip lasts 30 – 40 minutes.
The alternative, especially if you’re with luggage and you want to avoid all the hassle, is to take a taxi or a private transfer up to the airport.
Lopud port facilities
As I have already mentioned above, Lopud is a small island town where the ferry terminal is located in a very centre of the town. All the town’s facilities are nearby: bars, restaurants, shops, etc.
