Dobropoljana – Newly renovated Pasman pearl

Due to the renovations of the Pasman island pearl, Garma beach, Dobropoljana has significantly raised the level of tourist offer; the beach was leveled in the length of 30 m and top-dressing was done. The large stones and silt were repaired, a part of the waterfront of 80 m was concreted and palm trees were planted.

The newly installed six parasols, in addition to providing the best solution for sun protection, represent the most important element in the new visual identity of the beach.

Furthermore, the toilet, the old mill and the tourist office were painted.

The total value of the works exceeds HRK 150,000.

However, it does not stop at the work done so far, but continues with new projects. The issue of ownership of the old mill is being resolved and it is planned to prepare project documentation for its renovation with the aim of applying for EU funds.

The expansion of the port is planned in cooperation with the County Port Authority. An urban plan, an environmental impact study and a preliminary design for the expansion of the port have already been prepared.
