Dubrovnik to Hvar Ferry
Sailing between Dubrovnik and Hvar is the fastest inexpensive way of travelling between two of the most popular destinations in Croatia. Currently, the Dubrovnik to Hvar ferry route is operated with fast ferries (passengers only) from the companies Jadrolinija, Krilo and TP-line, the trip takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
The Krilo fast ferry stops in Pomena on Mljet and in Korcula, the fast ferry from Jadrolinija and TP Line stops in Korcula.
During the winter season, it is not possible to travel by sea, at that time of the year the best way to travel is to take a bus from Dubrovnik to Split and then take a catamaran from there on to Hvar.

My personal tips for the trip from Dubrovnik to Hvar
As the ferry from Dubrovnik to Hvar is actually also the ferry from Dubrovnik to Split, my tips are more or less the same.
- Expect some amazing views on the trip, so be early at the port, so that you can get a window seat!
- Bring drinks and smuggle some food onboard, 3.5 hours on a boat is a long time, so you will need some refreshment, you can buy some onboard, but it is way cheaper to bring it.
- Consider making a stop in Korcula, you can take early morning ferry to Korcula town, spend 3-4 hours there and then take another ferry from Korcula to Hvar.
