My personal tips for the trip from Dubrovnik to Hvar

As the ferry from Dubrovnik to Hvar is actually also the ferry from Dubrovnik to Split, my tips are more or less the same.

  • Expect some amazing views on the trip, so be early at the port, so that you can get a window seat!
  • Bring drinks and smuggle some food onboard, 3.5 hours on a boat is a long time, so you will need some refreshment, you can buy some onboard, but it is way cheaper to bring it.
  • Consider making a stop in Korcula, you can take early morning ferry to Korcula town, spend 3-4 hours there and then take another ferry from Korcula to Hvar.
