If you are doing Island hopping and are looking for a way to get from Island Brac to Island Vis, your only direct option is the fast ferry from Milna to Vis town, this catamaran route is operated year round. The sailing time from Milna to Vis is around 1 hour and 30 minutes as the catamaran also stops in Hvar on the way.  The departure time of the catamaran is late afternoon or early evening hours depending on the time of the year. The best alternative way of getting from Brac to Vis, is to take the catamaran from Milna to Split and then take the car ferry from Split to Vis, travelling this way around will take you at least 4 hours.
