13,25 km educational trail

With this project, the carrier of which is Pasman Municipality, a 13,25 km long educational trail has been built and along it were also built 5 rest stops/viewpoints: Lavanda, Bobića špilja, Smilje, Maslina and Bokolj.

Paths were fixed up, rest stops were set up, along with other equipment like benches, bike stations, panoramic telescopes, trash cans, info, and educational boards, etc.

The main goal of the project is to promote and use the recreational, health, and tourist functions of the forest, which ultimately contributes to improving the quality of life of the local population and greatly enriches the tourist offer of the island of Pasman.

Furthermore, the project’s goal is to educate and inform visitors about the forest plants and animals, also about the importance of preserving the ecosystem, stopping forest fires, and the importance of the forests and caves of Pašman island.
