Where at the port in Rogac does the car ferry depart?

The port is located basically in the centre of Rogac, if arriving by bus or by taxi, the drop-off point is right next to the port.

Can I bring my dog on the ferry?

On the car ferry yes, just make sure to follow guidelines for bringing pets on a Jadrolinija ferry.

I am a foot passenger travelling from Maslinica on Solta, how do I get to Rogac?

The bus from Maslinica to Rogac drives according to the ferry schedule, the bus stop is located at the ferry port.

How much time before the departure do I need to be at the port?

If you are travelling by car, the thumbs rule is at least 30 minutes before, but in the main season, you might have to be there even earlier to be sure to get a spot on the ferry. If you are a foot passenger 20-30 minutes before departure is enough.

Can I buy a ticket for a specific departure?

Yes on the catamaran you can, on the car ferry unfortunately not, car ferry tickets are valid for any departure of the day.

2024 Rogac to Split Ferry Prices

Below you can see the summer price list for the car ferry, the foot passenger price for the regular ferry is 5,44 € one way. While the ticket price for the catamaran line is 6,37 € one way.  It often happens that people travelling by, car or bus get a bit confused about how to calculate the price, so here are a few examples.

Car with passengers

If you are e.g. 3 adults and a regular car going on the ferry, the price calculations for one-way tickets are the following, car (Less than 5 meters in length, and two meters in height) = 22,56 € + 3 adults (3 * 5,44 €) = 16,32 €. So in total, your price will be 38,89 €. As there is no discount for return tickets the round trip price will be 77,78 € or roughly 25,88 € per person.

Bus with passengers

For a bus the way of calculating is different,  if you have a bus with space for 30 people and 22 passengers, the price is 134,85 €, which includes the bus and the passengers!
