The largest ship in the history of Jadrolinija’s fleet will embark on its first voyage in May

The ship “Dalmacija” the largest in the history of Jadrolinija’s fleet, which will maintain the international line Dubrovnik – Bari, has arrived in Croatia. It will be adapted to the visual identity of Jadrolinija at the Viktor Lenac shipyard and is scheduled to embark on its first journey in mid-May.

At 134 meters long and 24 meters wide, with 8 decks, and valued at 18 million euros, it is the new flagship of Jadrolinija’s fleet that will connect Dubrovnik and Bari, Croatia, and Italy, this summer. Up to 10 trips per week are expected during the high season.

The ship “Dalmacija” was built in Norway in 1993 and reconstructed in Finland in 2014 according to a project by OSK Design, which works for leading global shipping companies. The ship has a capacity of 1800 passengers and 350 vehicles, and an average speed of 17 to 17.5 knots.

The journey to Dubrovnik will take approximately six hours. Passengers will enjoy numerous amenities—from several bars and restaurants to a playroom for children.
