Hvar Island – Wine Week Jelsa replaces Wine Fest

This year, it has been decided that the regular festival in Jelsa on Hvar island, Wine Fest won’t be held due to epidemiological reasons. As an alternative, Jelsa Tourist Board promptly designed an event to promote local wines in accordance with current measures – Wine Week Jelsa with the slogan: While on the island of Hvar, drink Hvar wines.

Although we did everything we could to keep it going, mostly to preserve the tradition, an uninterrupted long series of events since 1952, we had to cancel the Fest. We thank all the fans, loyal guests of the Wine Festival for their understanding, we expect your support in this situation as well, because we really have to be careful about the virus and act in accordance with the instructions of the authorities.

Marija Marjan, Director of Jelsa Tourist Board.
