The government approved the expansion of port areas in Šibenik-Knin County

ŠIBENIK – At last week’s session, the Government passed a Decision for approving the Decision of the Šibenik-Knin County Assembly on Amendments to the Decision on Determining the Boundaries of Port Areas, dated 23 November 2021.

This decision expands the scope of the port area of Skradin port (small Jaruga and port), Vodice port (Mali Porat and Stražara), Tribunj port (Tribunj and Sovlje), Jezera port, Murter-Butina port (Butina and Podrvrške) and Rogoznica (port 1, port 2, fishing landing place, anchorage and fishing berth in Peleš Bay), while the coverage of the port area of Zlarin port (port, anchorage and Boci bay) and Prvić Luka port (port and anchorage) is reduced.

The purpose of the expanded port areas is mainly for the communal connection of the domicile population and for fishing needs, while the reduction of port areas was due to harmonization with spatial plans.

In terms of expansion, port areas within Šibenik-Knin County have been increased by 136,350 square meters.
