So, if you’re looking for ideas for your Christmas holiday in Croatia, read on.

We’re starting off with a quick roundup of Advent programs on Croatian islands.

Krk on island Krk

The biggest town on the island, Krk is hosting its first Advent in Krk manifestation.
The manifestation started on November 27th and ends on Christmas eve, December 24th. Most of the events will take place just outside the Veliki park.

The manifestation is organized by the Tourist Board of City Krk, the City Krk Culture Center with the support of City Krk and Vecla which provides the city’s Christmas decoration.

The program is full of concerts (e.g. The After Work Jazz Quartet and concerts of ambiental Christmas music), children’s theatre plays, workshops, and exhibitions. Of course, the atmosphere wouldn’t be complete without the stands with local food, heartwarming tea, and mulled wine.

Supetar on island Brač

From December 17th until New Year’s Eve the old fish market next to the Primary school in Supetar will become Christmas Corner,  the go-to place for all merry Christmas lovers. It will start with a concert by the local band Naranča.

Visitors will also get to enjoy karaoke nights, the Bračologija quiz, concerts of traditional music, chess tournaments, and a play by a local acting group.

This event is organized by City Supetar and the Tourist Board of City Supetar. Food and beverages will be provided by Apinello restaurant, cafe bar Lanterna and Slatka kućica.
