As of this week, maritime passenger transport will become more expensive

The increase in prices did not bypass ferry transport either, so the Coastal Shipping Agency announced that ticket prices in maritime transport will increase from this week.

As of Tuesday, April 19, the price of transport on almost all state lines in coastal maritime transport will increase, the Coastal Maritime Transport Agency announced. Ticket prices for passengers should increase from two to eight kuna.

They point out that the Management Board of the Agency, at its session held on April 13, accepted the requests of liner shipping companies to increase prices and determined new price lists for a total of 24 ferry lines, 13 high-speed lines and 10 shipping lines.

From Tuesday, ticket prices will be higher for passengers over the age of 12 – in the off-season period tickets will be 4 kuna more expensive, while in the seasonal period they will cost 8 kuna more. For islanders and public service employees, prices increase by up to two kuna throughout the year.

For children from 3 to 12 years of age, the ticket will be 2 kuna more expensive in the off-season, while in the seasonal period the price will be 4 kuna higher. As for boat and high-speed lines, ticket prices for children from 3 to 12 years of age increase by 2 kuna and such a price will be throughout the year for this category of vessels.

Ticket prices for vehicles (including public service vehicles) will be increased up to eight kuna in the off-season, and up to 16 kuna in the seasonal period. For island vehicles and public service vehicles, prices will increase by up to four kuna throughout the year.

Trucks with a carrying capacity of> 5.01 tons have been singled out as a special category of vehicles for which the transport price list will change, it is predicted that the price of transport per ton of carrying capacity will increase- up to four kuna in the off-season, up to eight kuna in the seasonal period, for islanders and public service vehicles price will go up to two kuna throughout the year, according to the Agency.
