Brac island announces flights from Austria, Slovakia and Zagreb this summer

This summer, Brač Airport has four lines announced, one regular (domestic) and three international charter lines.

Although the German airline Sundair had tickets on sale on regular routes from Dusseldorf and Berlin to Brac with the A319 aircraft, the company decided to cancel all flights for this season. Of the regular operations to this airport, only flights of the Croatian national airline, Croatia Airlines, are announced.

From Saturday, Croatia Airlines resumes traffic on the domestic seasonal line between Zagreb and Brač island, which will be operated twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, just like in previous years, with a one-way price of 428.75 HRK.

Regular charters flights from Slovakia and Austria

As during the previous summer seasons, Croatia Airlines will operate for the Austrian tour operator on charter lines between Linz, Graz and Brač. The lines are currently announced between June 26 and October 9, once a week, on Saturdays.

A novelty on Brač island will be a regular charter line to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Croatia Airlines will operate on this charter line from June 19 to September 4, once a week, also on Saturdays.

DashQ400 aircraft with a capacity of 76 passengers will operate on all the mentioned routes to Brač island.

All operations on Saturday will be performed by the same aircraft of Croatia Airlines, in the way that in the morning there will be a flight Zagreb – Brac, then flights from Brac to Graz, Linz and Bratislava, while the flight Brac – Zagreb is planned in the evening.

Due to the fact that the departure of the plane from Zagreb to Brač on Saturday was postponed to early in the morning (at 08:05), it is not possible to make connections from international destinations via Zagreb to Brač, while it is still possible on Tuesdays, given that flights on these days depart from Zagreb at 12 hours and 40 minutes.
