Croatia Airlines introduces a new seasonal route Munich – Brač

Today, the new Brač – Munich seasonal line was presented at Brač Airport, which will be introduced in the summer flight schedule in 2023 by the national airline Croatia Airlines in cooperation with Brač Airport and other stakeholders in the Croatian tourism sector.

In addition to representatives of Croatia Airlines and Brač Airport, representatives of the Tourist Board of Split-Dalmatia County and the local tourist boards of Bol, Supetar, Sutivan, Postir, Pučišća and Selc, hotel groups Bluesun and Gruber-reisen and the Mayor of Bol Municipality gathered at the presentation.

The participants discussed the implementation of joint activities related to introducing the new line Brač – Munich, which, using synergistic effects, would create a high-quality and recognizable Croatian tourist product. It was concluded that the line has significant potential, considering that this year the most foreign tourists arrived on Brač from Germany, even 5 percent more than in the pre-pandemic year 2019, and that the increase in traffic connectivity of the island of Brač during the summer season is fully justified due to the increasing the number of available accommodation capacities and the offer on the island.

Brač – Munich flights are planned for the period from the end of May to the first half of October 2023, once a week – on Saturdays. Dash 8-Q400 Croatia Airlines aircraft, with a capacity of 76 seats, will operate on the route.
