Jadrolinija expects 56 thousand passengers in Split area this weekend

Jadrolinija reports they expect over 56 thousand passengers and 13 thousand vehicles to be transported in the area of Split this weekend!

Traffic is increased on all ferry and catamaran lines.

Jadrolinija points out they had 4 extraordinary lines on the route Split-Supetar last weekend. Compared to the same period, they are currently at 70% of turnover since 2019. They also hope that these figures will continue the positive growth that this shipping company has had since the beginning of June.

Catamaran line Split-Vis cancelled

The catamaran lines Split-Vis with departure from Split at 06:00 pm and Split-Hvar with departure from Split at 02:30 pm and from Hvar at 04:10 pm have been cancelled due to technical problems while other maritime lines sail regularly.

In addition to the regular catamaran line Zadar-Molat-Brgulje-Zapuntel-Ist, on Saturday 31 July at 07:00 pm, an additional catamaran line will be introduced from Zadar to Ist, and from Ist to Zadar on Sunday, 1st of August at 6:00 am.

Krilo Eclipse replaced Bišovo catamaran

From last week, public transport on the state high-speed line 9141 Pula – (Unije – Susak) – Mali Lošinj – (Ilovik – Silba) – Zadar and vice versa will be performed by the shipping company Kapetan Luka – Krilo and their catamaran ship Krilo Eclipse

The shipping company Catamaran Line d.o.o. from Split operated the line until July 22, 2021. The Coastal Shipping Agency conducted an urgent procedure for the selection of shipowners in accordance with the Liner and Occasional Coastal Shipping Act (Official Gazette 33/06, 38/09, 87/09, 18/11, 80/13 and 56/16) who, on the basis of a contract for the performance of temporary transport on that line, will perform transport until the selection of the most favourable bidder on the basis of an open public procurement procedure.

The ship has a capacity of 440 passengers. According to the new sailing schedule, the ship Krilo Eclipse will depart from Pula at 7:00 am.
