Jadrolinija joins the initiative “A week of vacation”

The tourism initiative, which translates to Croatian as Tjedan odmora vrijedan is aimed to extend the season and give discounts for visitors of numerous sightseeing destinations, national parks, hotels and restaurants. Now the largest ferry company in Croatia, Jadrolinija, has joined the initiative. The idea came from Croatian Tourist Board and Ministry of Tourism and Sports. The action is intended for domestic tourists which are able to use the discounts for a period of 16th – 25th of October.

This way, Croatians will get a chance to explore the country and its famous and less famous tourist attractions. This action will try to encourage people to travel all year round. Dozens of different businesses have joined the action, from accommodation and transport to catering services. Since the core business of Jadrolinija is also connected with tourism, the company has decided to join and offer cheaper tickets to Croatian islands. That is why the company offers a 20 percent discount for single tickets and vehicle tickets. Discount is valid for 2 ferry routes, Prizna – Zigljen and Split – Vis. This way, passengers will save some money when travelling to the islands. The discount is valid for 2 weekends, 17-18th October and 23-25th October 2020. Tickets can be purchased on their website, as well as on the sales points in the ports.

In other news, Jadrolinija attended a TTG Travel Experience tourism fair in Rimini, Italy, where they presented a business plan for 2021 and found new sales partners for ferry routes. Jadrolinija operates 3 international lines to Italy, Dubrovnik – Bari, Zadar – Ancona and Split – Ancona, the latter of which operates all year round. These lines are extremely important to the company, which is why Jadrolinija went to the fair to try and expand its offer to Italian people.

Additional workshops will be held in November, where the company will continue to promote the lines.
