Jadrolinija ferry

Several ferry lines starting with the summer schedule in June

The summer season is about to start, and new ferry schedules are being updated on a daily basis.  On Sunday, May 30, Jadrolinija catamaran serving the line Jelsa – Bol – Split will depart from Jelsa at 13:00h, and from Bol to Split at 13:25. Starting at Friday, June 4, the catamaran will sail from Jelsa every day, starting at 06:30h.

Changes are due in the other direction. From Split to Bol to Jelsa, the catamaran will depart at 16:30h, while from Jelsa to Bol will depart at 06:00h. There will be more changes, this time regarding the prices. A one-way ticket will start at 55 Kunas, instead of the current 40 Kunas. Island residents owning the island card will not see the price change.

Split – Dubrovnik line starting at the end of May

The line is operated by Kapetan Luka company and starts on May 31. The catamaran is departing from Split at 07:30h and arrives to Bol (Brac Island) at 08:20h. After ten minutes, the catamaran continues to Makarska, Korcula, Sobra on Mljet Island, and finally arrives at Dubrovnik porta at 12:15h.

The return from Dubrovnik to Split is the same day, at 16:00h. The catamaran will be in Bol at 19:50h and will arrive in Split at 20:45h. This line was meant to start in 2020 but didn’t for obvious reasons. Tickets can be purchased in Bol, at the Bol Tours agency. The ticket price from Bol to Split is 100 kunas, from Bol to Makarska is also 100 kunas, while Bol – Korcula, and Bol – Mljet is 140 kunas. The price for the trip Bol – Dubrovnik is 240 kunas per person.

Another ferry company, Jadrolinija, will start with the ferry line Dubrovnik – Korcula – Hvar – Bol – Split on June 11. Departure from Split is at 15:30h and will be in Hvar town at 17:35h.

Jadrolinija allows reservations for certain lines

State-owned ferry company Jadrolinija recently allowed buying a ferry ticket with included reservation. One of the ferry lines where this will be implemented is Sumartin – Makarska, for vehicle tickets, of course.

Tickets can be purchased online, as well as at Jadrolinija sales points. The “reservation” part means that you can reserve a spot on the ferry for your vehicle, for the specific departure. Passengers will be obligated to show a traffic license. Moreover, it is recommended that passengers arrive at the port at least 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Below are the ferry lines where you can buy ferry tickets with reservation:
