Easy Jet is introducing 19 lines to the Adriatic this season

Positive news related to tourism comes from the air transport sector. At the end of this month, the popular airline Easy-Jet will introduce as many as 19 routes that will connect Europe with cities on the Croatian coast.

The summer flight schedule will be introduced at the end of March, and according to the Croatian aviation portal, the British Easy Jet will introduce regular flights to Pula, Rijeka, Split and Dubrovnik airports at the beginning of the summer flight schedule.

Pula Airport

This summer, Easy-Jet is introducing 9 regular flights to Pula Airport, from London, Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Bristol, Geneva, Glasgow, Luton and Paris. As of March 28, a regular line between Pula and London (Gatwick Airport) will be introduced, which will be open 3 times a week, every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Pula is a famous historical town on the southwest side of the Istrian peninsula. All the catamarans in Pula depart from the pier located right in the center, near most of the historical sites. It’s connected by regular fast ferry lines to Venice in Italy, just as with Zadar and the islands Unije, Silba, Lošinj and Ilovik.

Rijeka Airport

Rijeka Airport will have two Easy-Jet routes this summer, to London and Berlin, but they will start operating in May and June, respectively.

Rijeka is the third-largest city in Croatia and the second largest on the Croatian Adriatic coast. It’s considered the biggest Croatian port, even though there are not many passenger lines that go through Rijeka.

Zadar Airport

They will also open 5 lines that will connect Zadar with Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, London and Milan.

Zadar is a historical town in central Dalmatia which is very popular among tourists. That is why it is perfectly connected to almost all the islands in the Zadar archipelago.

Split Airport

For this summer season, 14 regular flights to Split Airport have been announced. Ten of them will start operating this month, to Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Bristol, Glasgow, Geneva, London, Manchester, Paris and Naples. Lines to Luton, Lyon, Milan and to Orly will start in May and June.

Split is the second-largest city in Croatia and the biggest city on the Adriatic coast considered the capital of the region Dalmatia. The ferry terminal in Split is the main passenger port in the whole of Croatia so it’s well connected to many Croatian islands and even Italy.

Dubrovnik Airport

As for our southernmost airport, Dubrovnik, Easy Jet is introducing 8 international lines this month that will connect Dubrovnik Airport with Amsterdam, Berlin, Bristol, Geneva, Edinburgh, London, Manchester and Naples. Lines to Lyon, Nantes, Orly and Basel will start in May and June.

Dubrovnik is well connected by regular and seasonal ferries with many Croatian destinations. Dubrovnik ferry terminal is located in Kantafig area of Gruz bay, only 3 kilometers from the Old historic part of the town. All the ferries and catamarans from and to Dubrovnik operate from there.

As many as 44 EasyJet return flights between March 27 and 31 are a hint of a good summer season in which the well-known British low-cost airline will significantly increase its market share compared to last and the previous season.
